$60 ribbon tweeters and you send them in unsealed baggies...no foam or bubble wrap to protect them, even? They were just flopping around there, in the shipping carton, out of their bags.

This isn't the place for that, call shipping! *NM*

"It has been remarked that if one selects his own components, builds his own enclosure, and is convinced he has made a wise choice of design, then his own loudspeaker sounds better to him than does anyone else's loudspeaker. In this case, the frequency response of the loudspeaker seems to play only a minor part in forming a person's opinion."

What is the place for that? It is totally uncalled for. I've had similar experiences. Maybe exposure will stop it.

This is a good place for it

This message board is frequented by buyers and potential buyers. It is the best place to show stuff like that. That way we know what's going on. Better here than some other message board, huh?

To be balanced though: I got an order last month from PE that was the absolute best packing I have ever seen from ANY company. So, I was a bit surpised to see the above post. I have had items shipped like that before, but based on the last package I received I thought bad packing was old news, and things had changed. Apparently careless packing is still going on. Believe me, whoever packed that deserves getting chewed out!

My invoice says the sales person was "AMYR". PE, give that person a raise, and have them train your other packers. Absolute BEST packing EVER! Thanks.

About every third package I get from PE has damage. They have replaced well over $150 in drivers for me because of this. Some of it is UPS fault and some of it is horrible packing.

Everything I've gotten from PE has come through just fine.

Do they use another warehouse maybe for some stuff?

                A suggestion for us

We all have a tendency to want to vent after what seems inadequate packing jobs, but if we all give fast feedback, as soon as we receive a package, positive feedback also, PE can find who is undercutting their otherwise exceptional servise and who is serious supervisor material. So good feedback or bad, quick calls to them with your packing list in hand will help them and us down the road. Who wants to get on board?
When you run make sure you run,
to something not away from, cause lies don't need an aeroplane to chase you anywhere.

Thats what I was shooting for

i did not mean to clog up the board, and that sure was not uncalled for. But I know for a fact that if you notify PE via telephone, they respond FAST that makes a real difference. I meant to say That he should take his claim straight to where it counts. geez

If we all write a 'good' or 'bad' letter PE can crumple them all up and use them for packing material.

Your absolutely right. I would have been pissed if my things were packaged in such a manner. On a good note, PE has always made good on my damaged merchandise. Even if it was stinking UPS,s fault. You add this with the horrible let down of not being able to complete your project and your bound to be upset.

Poor UPS guys...no wonder stuff gets broken they literaly have to run from house to house as fast as they can just took keep from getting fired. BUT PE should know that and pack accordingly!
