Agreed
It's to a company's credit that they allow people to gripe about their products, their shipping, whatever, on their forum. It's a sign of confidence in their customer service.
People should feel free to speak up any number of things.

This is the place for that!
I must say that PE has the worst packing of any company I deal with. More times than not, I have received damaged parts due mainly to poor packing. Sure, they have good customer service, but I would prefer to never have to use it.

Re: C'mon PE
I have seen a variety of packing jobs from PE, but I have never had any stuff damaged from the shipping process. So while I have nothing to complain about, it's good to let PE know first-hand if you do so they can prevent problems in the future.

Poor UPS guys...no wonder stuff gets broken they literaly have to run from house to house as fast as they can just took keep from getting fired. BUT PE should know that and pack accordingly!

Your absolutely right. I would have been pissed if my things were packaged in such a manner. On a good note, PE has always made good on my damaged merchandise. Even if it was stinking UPS,s fault. You add this with the horrible let down of not being able to complete your project and your bound to be upset.

If we all write a 'good' or 'bad' letter PE can crumple them all up and use them for packing material.

Thats what I was shooting for
i did not mean to clog up the board, and that sure was not uncalled for. But I know for a fact that if you notify PE via telephone, they respond FAST that makes a real difference. I meant to say That he should take his claim straight to where it counts. geez

We all have a tendency to want to vent after what seems inadequate packing jobs, but if we all give fast feedback, as soon as we receive a package, positive feedback also, PE can find who is undercutting their otherwise exceptional servise and who is serious supervisor material. So good feedback or bad, quick calls to them with your packing list in hand will help them and us down the road. Who wants to get on board?

Re: This is a good place for it
Everything I've gotten from PE has come through just fine.
Do they use another warehouse maybe for some stuff?

Re: This isn't the place for that, call shipping!
About every third package I get from PE has damage. They have replaced well over $150 in drivers for me because of this. Some of it is UPS fault and some of it is horrible packing.
