        What are your impressions about HiVi DMB-A? Is it worth money? Looking for midrange in 3way (silk tweeter and 8" woofer) . Trying to understand what is better HiVi or may be Dayton RS52. 800-4000Hz

          If you want 800Hz, you'll likely have to look elsewhere. The RS52 A/F and DM mids really are only able to get to about 850-900Hz, and that's not without impedance compensation at resonance. Most 2" domes are only going to be capable of that range.

            Well It's not so important 800 or 850Hz.

            And according with distortion measurements I can see no obstacles for RS52 going down to 700Hz

              It does not have the Xmax to support that kind of travel, and starts to cry out when even going to 800Hz. I've heard it do it in the ZDT3.5 project, and I am not a fan of the RS52AN at all.
              Maybe you should start a query thread to get a little more feedback about what you are trying to do...
