Can I use the Vifa BC25TG15 or DX25TG09 as a replacement for the AC25SG05-4?

Can I use that as a replacement tweeter for the Orient Express design? Or will I need a different xover for that? Also, if so then could I use the 6.5 SF instead of the 5 1/2 or would I then definitely need a different xover?

You will need a new crossover for either.

Okay thanks. Definitely going with a design now. Looking at the Core 2-way. But don't know if it's good as a smaller bookshelf cabinet. Hmm

If you are still looking for a Orient Express look-a-like, this may help you out. I have build 3 pair of these. Although this is a slightly different crossover than I used, I think it will be a improvement. The crossovers were done with in box measurements. I can not work up any others designs as I no longer have the speakers.

If you do build them use the Orient Express cabinet, but you will have to change the tweeter cutout.

Out of stock on the 0.05mh and they only have 1 in stock for the 1.4mh. Restocks on 6/28/13.

Everything is ordered. Anyone want to help and explain where to set the parts on the board for soldering? I'm going to use an old piece of thin wood I have.
