SB Acoustics created new white drivers. Maybe you're thinking of something new? like Kairos

I think Dance wants to know if there will be a newer design using the new white drivers from SB, that is not unlike the Kairos.
I have no idea what dld is referring to either....

                Wolf, yes it is.
I'd like to hear white SB drivers in Kairos. Maybe with a new tweeter, Which will sound a little better than Kairos 1

                  Hi guys.
Can I try using the Jantzen WAX Coil 16AWG in the Kairos crossover?
The fact is that the Jantzen WAX Coil 16AWG has other resistance, it's 0,28Ω - for a small coil and 0,72Ω - for a large coil.
If I put these coils on, the frequency response will not go wrong?

                  Sorry for my bad english.

I'm glad you like them, Robert. I hope they bless you with many years of enjoyment.

Thanks for the write-up, and I like your personalized touches to the cabinet design.

Jeff, do you have any open source designs or is everything a kit through Meniscus?
No matter where you go, there you are.

He likely won't see this since he does not post much here anymore, and this is a thread from 2012.

The kits sold at parts express usually have the write up available on the kit page. The Solstice is still available, the tweeter for the Tango is discontinued and i haven't seen any on eBay for quite a while so really may be no longer available (NLA). The new Dayton version is not a drop-in replacement. Also, the Quarks build is open source. (Those are the only 3 that I know of that are open source.)

Also, note Jeff has several new kits at DIYsoundgroup, but like the Meniscus kits those are not open source.

He had the MTM 'Denhams' that were very popular with the RS28 as well, and the 'Dreydels' (2008)¬*RS150/TDFC- which is still valid.
Then there is the woofer module for making a 3-way from a 2-way. The schematic for that¬*is public.

I don't know of any others.
