  • Induction rise after install

Ok, both inductors measure 2.02 before install and 2.55 after. They are in the area of another but they don't change at all. Both of them are .15.
Are these numbers to be ignored, or respected? In simulation, it does bad things.

I can tell you that its not the other inductor. On the board with no connections its 2.02. After its hooked in to the rest of the circuit, it goes up to 2.55. is this normal.\?

My guess is that when in circuit the test results are being corrupted by the rest of the components, especially if you have the drivers wired to the crossover.

        Re: Induction rise after install

It's almost always impossible to accurately measure a component's value when wired in a circuit with other components due to the various pathways that allow those other components to be "measured" at the same time.

You must be right. If it were true, there would be a huge dip around 2k. thanks.
