I'll be there probably all three days. We might as well make this the GTG thread.

There are multiple restaurants/bars within walking distance of the hotel, so who's in for getting a group together for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday lunch or dinner?

BTW - this is a great show. Anyone who's close should attend at least one day.

LOL...please don't go there. I thought about a mini Chicago DIY, but no space is readily available that weekend and I live in the city - 45 minutes away from Axpona. It's just not gonna happen. Nice try though, Lowel.

FYI -

Chicago Marriott Suites O'Hare-- 6155 North River Road • Rosemont, IL

They have a AAA rate of 101.00/night. Parking is additional ($24/night)
If you’re not a AAA member - Regular rate is $109/night. Park & Stay rate is $134/night
They also have a stay + breakfast rate - I believe it’s also $134, but there are lots of good restaurants in the immediate area.

I have no clue if these rates will change as we get closer to the show. I'm kind of surprised the rates are this low actually. I expect they will go up soon.

This hotel is directly across the street from the Axpona hotel (Westin). I'd be very wary of staying at the Axpona hotel because of all the NOISE you're likely to encounter. Last year I was in the Viper Audio room at midnight doing some causual (wink wink) listening and we were asked politely to ratchet the volume down.

My brother and I plan to attend. Reminiscent of the CES shows we attended years back when they were in Chicago.

We're up for a lunch time get together.
