Those are cool! I like the hardware that connects the top and bottom.

I take it the bottom piece is a very heavy object to offer stability to the design? Otherwise, some stabilizers to widen the footprint might be in order.

Thank You, I've been waiting 6 years to build these;

The base will be filled with electronics to help with ballast in the future. For the contest speakers maybe a brick or two?

Stability is one reason on the list to build a pair before making the final 7 for my system.
