Sounds like the musical equivalent of ben afflec playing Batman.

I'd go see them if they played with a 3 1/2 hour drive time. I saw Queen years ago and what a show it was.

Why ruin Queen? No one can do Freddie Mercury; shame he's gone.
Having Adam Lambert sub-in sounds like a trainwreck.

What? You don't have to fib, Paul. We know you have no idea who Queen is. ;):p:D
(I know you do like Queen in reality, but others may not. I can see you and Dave frying resistors together...)

                  Re: Queenbert tomarrow evening.

In all honesty I didn't really know anything about Queen until my older daughter bought one of their LPs "way back when" and was playing Bohemian Rhapsody. I rather cottoned to that song. Moving forward several decades in time, one of my daughters gave me a CD with all of their hits. I really appreciate their musicianship and the fact that I can understand every single word on every song, and intentionally distorted sound is at a minimum. Plus, Freddie could really punch out a tune. My wife likes this CD, too; every now and then I'd come home from work and find she was in the kitchen cooking dinner while the CD was blasting away in the living room. Fortunately, she never fried any resistors.

Well not to bring up the politics of this match made in hell...

Really though one good thing that happened in recent history was Journey getting that new singer... Sounds dead on like Perry. There's a documentary i think it's called "Don't Stop Believing". Pretty good movie.

Queen at their best, banned on MTV.
