    Holy cow Lowell,

How do you get that much done in 5 days? I feel like I'm moving in slow motion compared to you. At this rate, they'll be on the cover of July's sales flyer.
    They look awesome BTW.

No kidding! The only way I can get a project done that fast is to use pre-made enclosures from PE :D

The lowest possible F3 box alignment is not always the best alignment.

Designing and building speaker projects are like playing with adult Lego Blocks for me.

          You suspect correctly Sir.
BTW Bolland83 Helped with the design like 8 months ago Thank you . He is such a whiz with Sketchup.

Really its not that hard. Just take off of work and spend 8 hours in the shop each day. You all could do the same.
Tom, don't jest. Your builds are way above what I can remember after I sleep.

I was going to add a plate to the bottom as well but I think I will leave it raw to show the layers.
              Agree?
If they come out like I want, these will make it to MWAF as well.

Re: What I did on my summer vacation III

Well, I decided a few years ago, when I was capable, to design a three way with all aluminum drivers. so, this is it. I have done a curved, front to back, but wanted to do a top to bottom.
Pete S did something similar, with the help of D Rose. This is mine.
Originally, I was going to just use HDF but the MDF core ply was free and I found the rubber in our dumpster at work. I only bought one sheet of 3/4 ply and the outside layer of HDF.
I once had a mtm with the DA175 and really enjoyed them.
Using the DA270/SD315 combo will relieve the 175 of lower duties which will allow it to really shine. I had all but the PR for a few years now.

I like that. Accent on the 'E'?

As awesome as those are turning out, it disappointing that there's no aluminum cone passive radiator.

Add stick on wheel balancing weights to tune it.
                          ??? Just a thought...

I agree. I did look for one. Even researched Aluminum colored spray paint. (which is still an option). I just could not justify the cost. The SD315 is well suited for this application I think. I even thought about knocking the magnet off of a another DA270 but my vision was for a twelve.
And, I wanted to use all Dayton products.
                            Thanks for the suggestion 6th.

I guess I can see some relation to the Kharma speakers but mine are just a vision I had that I thought I could complete with my skill level.
I hope my finish looks as good as some of those do. Thanks for the inspiration.
