Chris I could not agree more. Lowell is making some fantastic speakers in all facets of design and build.

Arlis, those look really terrific just like THAT (from here, anyhow). (I 1st heard one of Lowell's creations at IOWA 2010, and really liked what he had then - although I can't remember the name of them. I thought his IOWA project last year would have been in a 3-way tie for "Best of Show" - or "Best of Sound", and, for me, put him in the top tier of our Master Designers.)
Got everything flush trimmed and sanded and gave the a few coats of Bullseye sealer. With out sanding, I then gave them a double coat of black spray primer. Sanding with 320 tells me the will look good when painted, really smooth.

Those are going to be awesome!!!! But I have to ask... what in the wide world of sports is that hanging off the window behind them??? Pet squirrel cage? :D

Amazing work Lowell. It'll take me 6 months to accomplish something like that.

Yes, accent on the E. Great "out of the box" design too, very nice!

If he goes this route I expect it will take just a little longer than the few minutes it took for the rest of this build! :D
Cool project Lowell. What is your plan for paint?[/QUOTE

Going to with something as close to Harley Orange as I can. It will have flames just a shade lighter as well as darker so the are very subtle. Plan is black front and back with black grills.

Cut the rear for terminals then made up some with connections for three speakers so they will be sealed when I start testing.
About all I can do till the rest of the magnets get here next Saturday. Poor planning on my part.
