Thanks. The Flames change as you move around as does the color. He knew I didn't want it to look like a hotrod so in put tint in the clear and kept going until he got what he wanted.
Yes, that was intentional on the grill.. I thought the contrast would be nice.

    Nice!!!

The second pic really shows off the flame effect. It's subtle, and it looks fantastic!

I also like the fact that the grill doesn't come to the edge of the cabinet when viewing from the front. It allows about 3/4"? or so of the cabinet to be seen around the frame. Nice touch.

Great - glad I asked. Thanks for the insight.

I have an Omnimic and always use the sine-sweep for measuring frequency response. Is there any benefit to using noise instead? I always had it in my head that a sine sweep missed out the impact that reproducing one frequency might have on the reproduction of another at the same time. I think I recently saw a reference to this sort of anomaly as 'modulation distortion', but I have not seen anyone mention it in the past regarding sine sweep vs white noise measurements of response or distortion.

Its Omnimic. When one uses the Pseudo noise, it does roll off early. The sine wave is much better. I may remeasure next weekend.
I keep letting my 26 year old teenager intimidate me in to being quiet in the morning.

Cool paint job, They make a pretty bold statement. And they remind me of how poor my paint skills are overall.

Where are these going in your house? Mancave?
