Looks like these things have been around for awhile. There are threads relating to them as far back as 2011. It's a $25 driver in a small horn cabinet with no crossover or filter what so ever. If the cabinet construction is very complex and the finish is very good it could be a fair price I guess, if 3" full range drivers are your thing. But if the driver's high frequency behavior wouldn't work in any other configuration without some sort of contour filter it won't here either as the box won't do anything for that.

Anyways Bill has already responded to posts about this thing in the past so I'll just put that here.

The ad print, if you could call it that is full of typical nonsense marketing BS. It uses the Fibonacci sequence, that makes it great without us telling you why (it should be self evident).
Also, power handling is unlimited, and by unlimited we mean we put a fuse in it that will blow if you try to push more power through it than the driver will handle, so that's unlimited.

Does the Fibonacci sequence make this a green technology? Won't do anything for the sound, but there may be tax credits.

Thanks for the link. I did a search and came up with every thread about horns, somehow. Between the size of the mouth, the length of the horn, the lack of any filter, and the "unlimited power/ fuse" bit... I was pretty skeptical.
