• Best Sub for a .35ft vas sealed box

I was able to nab a Ford OEM subwoofer for my dads expidition. Well the subwoofer is bad. I am looking for somthing that will sound good for my dads truck, now i dont need heart pounding bass but somthing that will reenfource the old rock he listens too. I do want it to let you know that it is there though. It is like .35ft vas toatle. It has a cut out for a 8" driver. I will have around 150watts rms for this subwoofer. Anybody know how much power the stock amp for this subwoofer puts out? I will be making a plate to allow for more depth because i only have 4" stock so i will amke a plate that will give me another 1" or so...

8" Quatro seems like a good fit... http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...46&rak=295-545

Yup. If you call mid 60's a sub. I don't. (Real answer is, there is no best fit for a sealed .35 cf "sub".) Sorry.

        Cabin Gain

Cabin gain can do A LOT with a 65 hz F3. Sure it won't be a sub by HT standards, but it should at least provide some low-end.

That Tang Band Neo subwoofer looks like a nifty sealed woofer for vehicle use.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.

I me myself was looking at the Tang Band 740C and it looks stronger than the Quatro but it is a LOT less sinsitive.
