  • NP (many of you won't believe me)

Not actually playing now, but this afternoon in my home on my audio system I listened to ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, B-52, Santana and Van Halen!:eek: The occasion was to help my son-in-law decide which of my "extra" 5 pairs of speakers he wanted for his own. He and my older daughter have been remodeling their kitchen and family room over the last couple of months, and I told him about 3 weeks ago he could choose a pair (free) to replace his very old bookshelf Heybrooks for the family room. About a week ago he came over, looked at what I had and listened to my description of them, then settled on two pairs from which to choose. Today, then, we played both pairs, first with my music (classical, jazz, dixieland, female vocal, etc.), then with his music. We had a good time and he took home the Amarosos.

Paul, those are my favorite bands (except the B-52s)! I saw Cheap Trick, Santana, and Van Halen live within the past 3 years. By the way, your speakers are so impeccably done. Glad you had a good time.
Some people are addicted to Vicodin. I'm addicted to speaker building.

Paul is not a prude. He just is not moved by that other stuff. Your very generous Paul.

                Paul,

You are a generous man and have wise family members. The Amaroso's are a great overall speaker.

Really though,,,, that was very generous Paul. I'm am also curious to know if you heard anything interesting in his choice of music.

Your son-in-law is a lucky guy. Nice of you to do that. Now are you going to buy any of that music for yourself?
