Chromecast tear down reveals AKM 192 kHz, 24 bit DAC
Re: Chromecast tear down reveals AKM 192 kHz, 24 bit DAC
This looks really nice. I find myself wondering if you have the ability to use it just as an output device for audio under windows or they force you to use cast features in apps.

It's wifi "input" only.
You need an app that speaks chromecast that can send to the thing.
Don't think anything built into Windows will do it.
Most of the streaming services through a browser (probably only Chrome at this point, anyone know of an add on for Firefox?).
