I generally hate making grills and stapling the fabric. 3/4"x3/4" MDF. I'll snap a couple of shots tomorrow.

yep they are grill guides receptacles. I made the grill that covers the front and cages the upper section of the speaker.

Paul, you could edge glue your veneer pieces and then apply them with CC. Not something I would recommend as the easy way.

A quick look at the pic in the ad shows that no, there are no strobe "dots" on the platter. You'd need a strobe disc to check the speed, and AFAIK,...
