    Hi Eric,

    Yeah, the baffle is double thick 3/4" MDF. The front piece is removeable so I can try out different drivers in the future. You don't have to build it that way. But I'll post more pics with the baffle in place either today or tomorrow. You are correct that the first layer of the baffle has the cutouts the same size of the diameter of the drivers (except where it would cut into a partition or sidewall) to allow better airflow. The removeable baffle is then screwed down to that. Or, you could just glue it, which makes sense.

    I'll try to get some notes in the threads over at my forum documenting the little details I did that make the build go really smooth.
