Hi Froste I'm a brand new member here. I was led to your website by googling "soundbar as center channel." I aspire to build the FCZCC someday. I'm brand new to speaker building so to me that build seems daunting. Could you point me in the right direction or to some books to better understand how to build the XO for the FCZCC? Thanks.

    Greets!
Robert tells me he has the Metro's x-over tweaks "ready for prime time"...almost. What are you doing this weekend? Want to lend your critical ear and listen? Let me or Robert know if you are available and when. We can come to Frankfort.
    See Ya!

Thanks for the ARTA write up. Helped me get a consistent measurement, if nothing else, on my speakers. Figured out a tweeter was wired out of phase without having to completely tear the thing apart and look. Very useful.

Froste......I met you at DindianaY, and recently came across your website.....Congratulations on your winning speakers in Dayton.....They look awesome......I wrote you a note at your website, ans am not sure if you recieved it or not.......At any rate, I looked at several of your crossover designs and saw something in your tweeter legs that I have not ever seen before.......I see that you put a smaller value capacitor with a resistor in parallel to that cap, all ifront of the rest of the tweeter leg, which generally appears to be a 3rd order electrical.......What exactly does this set up do ?.......Is there a certain sound that it creates or does it improve certain aspects of phase response?......I am not certain if that can be modelled in Bagbys' PCD or not......Perhaps you model this in another designer like Soundeasy?.......Any input would be greatly appreciated.....Omni....aka Doug Washeck
