These can really save you some time; especially with the 0.062" holes. If you bend the leads out on the back side, it also does a decent job of securing the parts to the board. I still tie wrap the large components and hot glue everything. Forcing some hot glue through the perforated holes also helps to prevent things from vibrating loose. The cost of the 8.5" x 17" boards is up there but you can probably build at least a couple of sets of x-overs with each board. Thanks, My son enjoys it a bunch. I tuned it for high bass output but when he uses it he likes to turn up the bass even more.

I was looking at your albums and was just curious about the QBB-6 boom box project: how exactly are the amplifier/head unit connected and is there a power supply for what appears to be a car head unit?
It's an amazing project and I've always wanted to make something similar and I'm curious about how to integrate all of the necessary components like you did. Any advice or explanation on how you did it?
