    Hi Chris.

I have plans for the 18" sub and a box 3.5 cuft. You said a 6" port is good but how long? I was thinking 4" long but I'm not sure for that 18" Celestion. I was also going to port it out the back. If I need to port it out the front, what ports would do? 3X 4" ports?
    Thanks for any help.

    Gary

    You can tune it properly w/a single 6"id port that's 3" long. Fb=57, F3=low 50s
If you want more port area, then a PAIR of 6" would ea. have to be 13" long. Fb/F3 both in upper 40s
    OR, THREE 4"id vents, each one 8" long: Fb=low 50s, F3 right around 50.
