L-Pad wiring

I am building a 3 way project and am relatively new at this. I purchased some L-Pads (Pro-Tech item # 260-240)to install in my speakers which control the tweeter and midrange. I thought they might come with instructions how to hook up but they did not. A question: The L-Pads have a circuit board with two prongs that look like they accept wire female fin type connectorss. The pots themselves have 3 prongs, one labeled with a 1, the other with a 2 and the third with a 3. Where do I connect the 2 wires that come from the crossover? Do they connect to the circuit board or pots? And how to I connect the 3 output posts on the pots to the driver? Two wires come from the crossover and two go to the driver but I am unsure how to connect them to the L pads as there are 5 posts that can be connected to, two on the circuit board and three on the each pot. Sorry for such a newbee question but I guess we all start somewhere.--Erik

Terminal #3 is the input (from crossover), #2 is output (to driver), and #1 is a common ground.
