OT-Wake me up when September ends

Just a brief message to let everyone know I'm ok in New Orleans. I personally have had minimal damage, no flooding, and have been working this entire time. The last month has been a blur however ... 12 hour days with 13 days on and one day off with no end in sight.

No pictures can adequately describe what happened, but I thought you may want to look at one of the sites that compiled some of the images. I won't rant about the news coverage except to say that if Shakespeare were alive maybe he should have said: "First kill all the reporters." Then again, maybe I'm just being too harsh.

Apoligies in advance: I probably won't respond. I have one day off and I can't waste it.

When Rita didn't hit as hard/bad/nasty as Katrina, the reporters seemed sort of disappointed.

I know some people were wondering how you faired down there. It's relieving to hear that you came out in one piece. My best wishes go out to you for a more sane future and no more hurricanes. Take care.
