Just wondering if anybody has a sugestion for a replacment midrange for this project. I would like to build a set of these for my mains but the midrange has been discontenued. I am willing to scrafice some performace for cost. I just dont want no 30$ dollar midrange.

Hi Trevor,

It probably won't be a "drop-in" replacement, but you might look at the Tang Band W3-881SD 3" driver (p/n 264-812) as a substitute for the discontinued Peerless dome mid (289-030).

The crossover shown on the Jubilee project will probably need to be revised for that substitution, but it may only be as simple as changing the resistor value on the midrange branch. (It may also require cap and coil changes however.)
