Default Sale! Help pay my bills!

Well, it has come to my attention that my funds situation is not very good at the moment. I sure could use some money for the bills, so it's time for some of my spare speaker stuff to go.

    First up:
Two Hi-Vi Research E10 - 10 inch woofers. The sticker on the magnet says 8 ohms, 200 watts max. That's it. I can't find specs on these anywhere! But, they are very nice looking speakers. Heavy magnets, cast frames, paper cones and foam surounds. They have a vented voice coil that looks to be about 2 inches. These are great speakers, and are in perfect shape. They've never been used or mounted and I'd imagine would be great for a 3 way floor standing speaker. I'd like to get $75 for the pair + shipping.

Next, I have a pair of audiosource subwoofer amps. Yup, you know the ones. $30 each plus shipping. They're in perfect shape, same as the day they were delivered.

Also, one Dayton RS270S-8 10 inch woofer. Brand new, opened but never mounted or hooked up to anything - 50 bucks plus shipping.

I've also got three Crown DC 300A amplifiers that I am waivering selling, they all work as far as I know, I'm not sure they'd fetch a lot of money, but if you are interested shoot me an email with an offer.

If you are interested in any of these items, please email me at daveavino@gmail. com

    Thanks for your attention!

I've had a question regarding the Audiosource amps. I know there was a lot of information on them here at the time, but I can't seem to find any of it. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    Thanks!

Dave, are those the 5.1's or 5.3's?

    Thanks,

$30 each, huh? They were $25 each from MCM.

Yup, and what a deal they were. I just wish I would have ordered about 6 of them instead of two.

They were $25 each, but shipping for the four that I bought was about 40 bucks, so I'm actually losing 5 dollars per amp. I'm not here to rip anyone off, just want to recoup some of my costs. You can't get them that cheap anymore, so I don't think 5 dollars over what they used to sell for is that big a deal.

Yeah, and if you wanna buy equivalent today, it'll cost you a bit more than $25... I've got a pair driving a pair of sealed Q15s, and I have yet to hear bad craziness.

The Audiosource amps have been sold, sorry for those who missed out, they got snatched up really quickly!

The sweet Hi-Vi's are still available, as well as the Dayton RS.

I can get pictures of both if anyone wants them

    Thanks!

    The Bunker always needs wattage.

The Crown DC300A amps will do 155 watts per channel and 310 bridged. They're rock solid amplification and were a pro sound instituion for decades. They'll push any load, including a completely resistive one (straight wire from + to -) They weight close to 50 lbs each. Do a search for them on google and you'll come up with plenty of info on em.

Looking around, it looks like I shouldn't let em go for much less than 250 each + shipping. Like I said earlier, I'm not sure if I want to let them go or not, because they could be very expensive to replace down the road. Not that I'm actually using them now. I did hook all three of them up last night, and they all worked fine. Could probably use an internal cleaning, but overall in pretty good shape considering their age.

    Default Purely resistive

That's not resistive. That's zero resistance. It's known as a "short".

A sort occurs, by definition, when there is zero resistance in a circuit. Straight wire across the terminals would do it.
