    Default 3-Way Project Need Advice

    Drivers:
    DC28F-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter 275-070
4" Sheilded Rubber Surround Woofer 290-373
    DC200-8 8" Woofer 290-310

I am planning on setting the cut off frequincy of the woofer at around 100hz and the cut off on the midrange at around 1.5Khz and the wteeter will take care of the rest. Now i dont have any programs to
measure the ocvarall responce of the system so i just looked at each drive and chose a point right around a dip to where i will have a crossover point to fill in. Tell me what you think. This sytem will be powerd with a 100watt amx amp and the overall impedance should be 8ohms.

I think you may be disappointed in the result. But don't let that stop you!

Pushing that tweeter that low (1.5k) is going to be an issue, for starters. There are very few tweets out there that really like crossing in that range - I'm having with the RS28A at 1400Hz (though it is probable that it's not simply the tweeter's fault as they've been crossed lower).

You will also probably find that a guesstimated crossover will need tweaking - perhaps lots. If you're not used to doing this by ear, it can be tough.

Build the Jubilees (but in 1.7 cf ported cab) using that mid and xo. Use that tweet or the -070 (would need an xo mod). Or build the Noah 8's (2-way, easier). The 8" can go lots higher, and your tweeter doesn't like much below 2k. It really doesn't seem like you're ready for a 3-way yet, or even maybe creating your own xo or speaker suite.
