I could not wait so I twisted the xover ends together for a listen on the RS 3 Way. Well, one anyways (mono) since a 6.2uF cap was backordered and will not be in until Monday. Two things struck me right off the bat. The first was the bass response from the vented bass cabinet with a RS225 8". It's the same type of bass from the RS150 except deeper, crisper, and cleaner. Very impressive. The second was the top hat. The RS28 definitely sounds impressive and yes it does sound better than the MDT20 my old time favorite. It's kind of hard to give a full evaluation on only 1 speaker but it sure sounds good. My hat to RomanB for coming up with the design on this speaker. The RS125 work fine and sounds almost exactly like the RS150. Vocals very clear and clean. Kinda like magic if ya know what I mean. Damn, now I have to actually mount the xovers. I just want to listen :-). I'll take some pictures tomorrow so you can see this beauty. Regards, Paul.
