Is this safe
Just wondering if i could croosver the Dayaton DC25t-9 1" Titanium Dome tweeter at 2Khz so that it will match with the Dayton DA175-8 7" woofer and the DA135-8 5 1/4" Woofers. If this will work i plan on using the BR-1's in my drum room and starting over witha new souround sound project. The mains will be 2-ways using the DA175-8 7" woofer and the DC25T-8 Tweeter. The rear sourounds will use the same tweeter and use the DA135-8 5 1/4" Woofer. And the center will utilise 2 DA135-8 woofers and the same tweeter. The woofers will be wired in series to insure that i have a 8 ohm load. I woud s really like to have the center sheilded but the woofers arnt availiable in a sheilded version.

I think your speaker might sound better with a bit of underlap. I'm not sure about the details/order of your crossover, but if you are doing a second order, choose 3000-3500 Hz for the tweeter.

Not sure Trevor, but it seems like you totally change your mind about every other day (every day?). You're burning me out. Why don't you take a time out and read something (Speakerbuilding 101 comes to mind).

There's an old saying
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it.
An analogous saying might be: if you have to ask whether it is safe, you probably already know it isn't.
Twice the Fs of that tweeter is about 3K, IIRC. So crossing at 2K likely is not safe. Especially if you plan to play them loud, which since you say you have a dorm room, I sort of suspect you will.

Re: Is this safe
As Dan said, the Fs of that tweeter is 1.5k so crossing it any lower than 2x that is probably not a good idea. Designs I've seen cross that unit at 3-5K. Additionally, based on the specs and the response graphs, I'm not a big fan of those woofers. The high end rolloff starts quite low, particularly for an aluminum cone. I looked at the 7" when it was a DOTD and passed on it because I'm not sure where it could be used. Frankly, I'd rather use the classic Daytons over the aluminums even given the well known issues with the 6.5 classic. But not with that tweeter.
If you're set on using that tweeter in a two way you need a woofer with better high end extension Vifa classics or Dayton RS come to mind.
