Default Sub advice for small room and Dayton HT speakers..

Hey all, this summer I built a set of the Dayton HT speakers (the modified design with MTM mains) and they sound great. However, I am still stuk with a pretty shoddy sub, and I would really like to add one to round out the theater.

What would you all suggest for a small dorm room, about 12x17? I don't need a lot of power, as i can't go crazy with it, as i don't think my neighbors would appreciate it. I will probably be in the room for the next few years, so I am looking for something relatively cheap that will get me by. I know a lot of people like the PE 10" sub, but i think that may even be a bit too much, and I was thinking of perhaps the Triska. Any other thoughts?

I think if you are looking for nice quality sound without overpowering the dorm facility, then the TriskaSub is a beauty. I got a chance to listen to it a bit at DIY2005 Dayton and really was impressed considering the monetary investment. Hmmm, I wonder where a person could get the TriskaParts for cheap....say around $1-$5 maybe...drawing a blank here.

Today at 5pm EST is the cut-off for this raffle. I will be out in the boat today fishing and island hopping so I doubt the the winner will be drawn tonight. It will however be drawn sometime tomorrow and announced tomorrow evening.

I would like to extend an invite to anyone in FL or visiting FL to give me an e-mail when down and I can run us out onthe river and maybe hook into a Tarpon or Snook or the likes. I am not promising you will catch anything, but hey I bad day fishing is still better than a good day working. Besides, it's called "fishing", not "catching"...right?
