Default search for the best 12" sub

I am in the middle of building a pair of subs for my house. I currently am using the 10" Titanic II's along with a 12" peerless passive. I am wanting to go with 12" subs, but not sure which to pick. The Titanic, the RS.HF, or the Peerless.Iam leaning towards the Titanic.

Without question, go for the RS HF. I currently use one, and it's the best sub I've heard. This is coming from a person who has heard many and likes few. This replaced a 15" XBL woofer I had a while back, among others I've tried. The RS has lower distortion and lower motor wind noise also.

    Here's my usage:

This enclosure results in about a .65 Qtc. Power handling sims show the 500 watt plate amp to be a very good match at this enclosure volume with the HF version.

How would this sub do with a peerless passive rad.? and what size enclosure recommend?

FWIW, I think I'll be sticking with my AE Speakers AV12. The thing still impresses me every chance it gets, and it has more overall, total displacement capability than the RS series subs.

You might consider the hi-vi m12. I use one in my system with a 300watt bash. with fantastic results. don't be fooled by the short xmax. It happens to be about 6db more sensitive than most other aluminum woofers. and it works in 1.25ft. I want to try the rs woofers but can't justify the extra money for a bigger amp. I seem to be the only one using it though.

2ft3 vented 30hz no spl measurements yet. I just bought soundeasy, but my pc needs to be updated before i can take accurate measurments. I used the big box because this was a replacement of an oz audio 12'' sub. It does go quite loud by the way.
