    Default Modded Lyras' finally working (PIC) *PIC*




    Finally have my Modded Lyra's up and running. Used a Vifa D26TG05-06 Tweeter (modded the crossover to cross 24db @ 5000 hz for this 6 ohm tweeter and used an L-Pad instead of fixed resistors to pad it down a bit). Lined the cabinet inner walls with the stuff they sell for padding as under-your-sleeping bag-while-camping and it worked great to keep the walls of the cabinet from being too lively. Few pics here (more outer cosmetic work will be done soon).

    Very nice! I am curious about the vifa tweet. I have a pair of 10" Tannoy monitors that use a tweet that looks just like that one. Anyone know for sure if that is it? I guess i could just pull it out. It sounds very nice. Howard
