high sensitivity 2 way dayton planars or dotd
i am planing my next project a high sensitivity 2 way bookshelf speaker for use with a low power tube amp. i am currently thinking about using the dayton planar tweeter (275-085) but am not sure about a woofer that can keep up with its 94 db. i'm thinking this will have to be a tmm possibly with the dayton 5 1/4 (295-302).
i have never used a planar before and am thinking that the stable impedence and high sensitivity will work great with a tube amp.
what do you guys think ?
i was also tossing around using the DOTD TB as it has fairly high sensitivity but i really want to play with the planars.
thanks!
