Hi,
I am looking to replace the ACI AC-10 woofers in my ACI Pulse subwoofers. According to ACI the internal volume is 1.25 ft^3. They are dual 10" drivers in push pull configuration. I think I'd like to replace them with single woofers in each box. I have what appears to be a very good suggestion of using the Dayton DVC-12 (295-185) and enlarge the cutouts a bit to take them. These boxes are "aperiodic" with 6 1/2" or so holes in the back of each cabinet with foam glued over them on the inside. It's suggested that I install these drivers and then test with foam in place and sealed to see what I like best.
I'd be using these for both movie and music and am looking to minimize cost. Can move to larger cabinets later if I want.
Have Carver TFM-22 (225 wpc 8 ohm/350 wpc 4 ohm) to drive these.

These DVCs look to be about the best choice for performance and my box size. Any better suggestions for comparable $$?
