old PE 250 watt plate amp: bass boost?

There once was only one version of this plate amp and it came with a healthy amount of bass boost dialed in. Some guys then began to change out some resistors to alter or even defeat that boost. Someone even had a web page showing in detail HOW to do those mods. Anyone have a link?

Thank you, Murray. I believe there was also a link provided by someone here on the PE Forum that had photos of the entire thing. (Was it Rudy?)
