yamaha sub118-IV - NEED HELP!

i own an old pair of yamaha club subwoofers 118-IV is the model and well basically the speaker works but the terminals or well where you plug in the 1/4" input into the speaker is not working!!! and well one sub does work but the other i plugged in the speaker cable and no sound! so i opened it up everything was connected so i tested just the speaker itself w/my other working sub and it worked so i'm guessing it's where i plug in the speaker cables to the speaker. basically what can i replace that with i know its' a passive subwoofer and that's about it. thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!!!!!!

Well I'm not one of the pro-sound guys but it sounds like you should check the connections to the driver and the jack. A solder joint might have cracked and there ya go, no sound. If all you need is some soldering you get off easy. Now if you need a new jack I think this one might do the job.

You will have to spend a whopping 80 cents on this baby at PE but I'm sure you can find one locally (say at a music store that sells PA equipment) and they will charge you about the same.
