new cables

While everyone thought about speaker cables, I thought I'd tell you there is life outside speaker building. And that I just replaced the brake cables on the old Schwinn Varsity. Of course I was listening to some great rock and roll while working. Played on my eminance alpha 10 garage speakers. Enjoy the sunshine and keep up the good work.

yes, I bought new cables and outside liners. I used the all purpose dremel tool to cut the liners. There is something nice about having great garage music when working, and not just the plug-in boom box. bob

The other kind of tube. Like a 2A3, KT88, 6sn7 or 12ax7? Or eaven an inner tube.

Tried 2A3's but the tire got a bubble in it. Then I tried putting in some 12ax7's, but those darn Michelin Pro Race kept picking up glass so I went back to rubber inner tubes.

They're predicting rain again later this week in Dallas, so I guess I can stay home one night and re-cable mine instead of riding it.
