Are these things PE exclusives or can they be bought locally? I need some and really don't feel like spending $12 for $3 worth of parts(shipping). Should I go to a high-end stereo store or Circuit City? Thanks.

I bought a bunch of these at a local Radio Shack, pretty cheap, for my buyout MMTMM last year. They are pretty commen, and any hardware store with a good supply of electrical stuff should have them.

The correct size is hard to find.

Mouser sells them.

Thats what I thought but I can only find .187"(3/16) or .250"(1/4"). I thought about using .250" but they seem loose enough to possibly vibrate loose.
