OT Gauging star party interest

Given Neil's very gracious offer of some prime real estate to hold a get-together of astronomical proportions, I really think this would be a cool thing to do.

So if you want to do this, give me a shout. Drop me an e-mail, call me (seven-six-five-two-seven-seven-two-zero-five-seven) or send a carrier pigeon my way. I'm thinking if there are 8 or more people wanting to make the trip it would be worthwhile. I'm open to ideas as to what the activities might be included for this mini-happening so if you would please give me your ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Also if you could give me an idea of when would be a good time to hold this event that would be nice. I've left it up to our host to have first say of when and when not to do it. I personally think it's a cool idea for all of us electro-geeks to get together and do something more than speaker and amp stuff.
