ZaphAudio B3S finished *PIC*

Thought I'd share a picture of one of John's designs I built, using the HiVi B3S.
<A HREF="http://www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker18.html">http://www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker18.html</A>
They were a DOTD a while back and I picked up a few for gifts. I'm bringing them to the Florida DIY this Saturday and let the guys give a listen. Very nice little speaker for a den, office or small room if you don't listen at high levels, also really nice for nearfield listening or for the computer. They blend great with a sub. These have got to be on the list of best bang for the buck and easy to build for non-critical listening.
Front removable baffle is solid Tiger maple, and sides are Birdseye Maple veneer. It's always handy to save left-over small pieces, never know when they will come in handy like this.

Holy awesome Robert!
They look great. I built some using the B3N (round frame version. At first I thought they sounded like crap...had way too much fill in the cabinet. Took some out and BAM! These suckers do sound pretty good. The efficiency is the only downside but oh well.
I gave'em to a relative to replace a $600 home theater in a box thing...matched with an 8" DVC sub...everyone's happy.
Mine don't look nearly as nice as yours though.

Robert, that is an outstanding job on the woodworking and finishing aspect. That just looks marvelous. Well done!

Great skills, Robert! That's some excellent veneer. I had your web-site with the speaker projects (NSB's, Def-Tech, etc.) bookmarked, but it won't come up anymore. I have <A HREF="http://www.ipee.com/NSB/NSB.html">www.ipee.com/NSB/NSB.html</A>
Is it gone, or did you change the url?

No More NSB pages

Thanks for the kind words. I took the NSB page down. The only page I have up now about speakers in my Projects Page at <A HREF="http://www.ipee.com/Projects.html">http://www.ipee.com/Projects.html</A>

WHAT?!?!?!? *PIC*

Sigh . . . You know that even though PE is sold out, there are lots floating around out there.
Which leads to another question. Did you ever do, or did anyone ever submit a project to you (preferably MTM, but if not, MT) for NSB(s) and either (1) the Dayton silkie or (2) the Dayton Neo? If so, and if you still have, would love to see.
Good to see you around, Robert. Hope all is going well.

Re: WHAT?!?!?!?
Hi Dan,
I don't have any of the old files at all. I don't recall any being done with the Silkie. I still have a few of those Meiloon tweets laying around though, that were used in your original design an a TM that Curt modeled for me.
