    Default for 'DARKKHILD79'...

The 1363SA are a very stout 8" driver. Shawn A had the 1139 in a 4ft open-ended 8"diameter tube, and it liked everything down to about 21Hz before it coughed a little. He used moderate stuffing to about 6" behind the driver, decreasing towards exit. This is typical stuffing of a TL, but other ways may work too. Since you are using a semicircular 8ft long tube of such and such diameter, the cutoff will be lower, and the 1363 is a more robust, and larger driver. I imagine mid 20s will be an appropriate guess, better if corner loaded. In a proper ported design, the 1363 WILL play to about 17.5Hz, and not breach Xmax at max Pe. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with a 1363 in a half-pipe, let alone a pair of the same. I suggest you lookup Martin E. King's Mathcad spreadsheets about TL designs, as he is the first and foremost (IMO) on this topic. The REAL specs of my 1363SA are:
    Re 3.4264ohms
    Fs 34.6628Hz
    Qes .4106
    Qms 4.6289
    Qts .3771

    Le 3.1346mH
    Vas 11.2226 ltrs
    Sd 197.93cm^2
    Bl 13.7
    Cms 203.9572
    Kms 4902.9897
    Mms 103.3653
    Rms 4.8634ohms
    Sens 86.0863dB @ 2.83V
    Krm .003934ohms
    Erm .837318
    Kxm .113822 H

See what you come up with! I'm interested to hear your impressions if you do this.

Thanks you Wolf for this great info! I will plan on doing this very soon now that I have a means to do so. I have a few questions that I will email to you for clarity on a few things. Now I have to just pass this by the "Boss" and see what comes about.
Thank you everyone for all the info as well!
    -B
Also I will let everyone know how this turns out.

Yes, keep us posted. I'm interested in your finished design. Glad I could help!
