    Default More on Temptress *PIC*

Here's another pic of my current project. This is a 3 way micro tower design I've been working on off and on for the past 4 years. This is the final version. The design has gone through 3 diffent cabinets and countless crossover variations. It began as a 2way TL and evovlved into a 3 way sealed design intended for use with stero powered subs. I'll do a full write up on it in the near future and explain the strangeness. Those are mdt39 mdm55 and an mw113 drivers.

    I call mine IZT-4, and IZT-4T (tower)

I use the PE driver and the MDT22 in the bookshelf you see pictured on the website and for the tower (no pics yet, sold the first 5 units) I have a special HP version which I use a special ordered a Skaaning 5" midbass and I upgrade the tweeter to the MDT-39.

With subs it slays a great deal of speakers, that mid is awesome when you figure it out.

The box is everything for that driver.

Thanks. I like yours as well. Nice to see I'm not the only morel fan around. The mdm55 is the best, most natural sounding midrange I've ever heard, especially for vocals. I used tracks of my daughter speaking when voicing the crossover and you could almost swear it was live from the next room.

I currently own 15 Morel drivers, and have to purchase a MW267 to pair the odd-driver. The others are 2 MW162, 2 MDT40, and 10 MW168 units. I like them quite a bit. I like the detail of the MW168 as a midbass (200-2k), and have 4 running in the HT, and have to build the remaining 3 speakers with the other 6. Very nice indeed!
    Later,
    Wolf
