OH, there is a new link...
I was always asking CurtC what that formula was everytime I started a project so I put one into Excel format for quick reference on the website.

So do you now recommend the RS28 tweeter and the Quatro 15?

I can honestly say no. I sold all my RS28s and the Quattro. My 3.5ways sound better and go just as low with better musicality than the sub did. I can say that my new favorite tweeter is the Seas 22TAF/G. Just a marvelous sounding tweeter IMO. Before that it was the Morel MDT-20 another decent tweeter IMO. It's just a difference in what I perceive sounds good to me is all. It's an opinion, nothing more nothing less.

Aegis 3.5 ways
Paul, you aren't by chance going to be bringing your speakers to any of the DIY events this fall? I have no idea where you live, but I'm really curious how they sound. I'll be attending the Iowa event and could possibly make it to one in Chicago.

Paul's in Texas, so it's doubtful you'll see him at Iowa or Chicago.
On the other hand, Rudy Jakubin is finishing up a design using Quad DA175, the RS52 Dome mid and the Dayton Neo tweet, all PE parts design. He's in Chicagoland area.

Yes, I will be attending my first DIY event this year. Mr. Mark Hygena(Sorry Mark I just know I spelled that wrong) is organizing the work. Still to be decided where but it's looking like the Austin or Houston area. It's pretty hot here in Texas so it will probably be around October when it starts cooling down. Otherwise, I'll be drenched in sweat by the time I haul these inside the event. Both are pretty close to me so either or is fine with me. I will also be bring my modded Jubiless turned into bookshelf speakers. Pretty much Darrens design tweaked to new cabinet dimensions. It does OK as long as you don't push it to hard. OTH, the Aegis takes 100wpc effortlessly. It gets scary loud

Pete,
So how about you and Rudy attending the Iowa DIY event on October 28th? It's shaping up to be a really good one. We'd like to see and hear some of your designs. Let me know if you'd like to get on the email list for info and updates.
