    Default 240 Plate amp/ xo?

Is this correct? If I run the speaker outs of my reciever to the speaker inputs on the amp and then run the speaker outs of the amp to my speakers, will they only play 160Hz and above?
Thanks for any information on the subject.

I believe the inputs are connected to the outputs with a 200uF NPE capacitor. 8ohm = 125Hz & 4ohm = 250Hz. I'd recommend removing the NPE - yuck - and figure out a different solution to high pass your mains.

8ohm = 125Hz ? What would have to be 8ohms, the woofer or the mains. The sub driver = 4ohms and my mains = 8ohms. 125Hz is a good cross. The sub will play up that high. Does this set-up = 125Hz.
Thanks for your help. Can you please clear up my remaining confusion. Thanks,

    cole.

The mains would have to be 8 ohms to get a 125hz highpass. But that is only 6db/octave. What kind mains are you using (drivers?)? Unless you plan on running a very high volume you may not need the highpass.

Also, all thats in the amp to make the highpass is an npe cap. Not very desirable.
