xB sound upgrade

I am going to buy a Scion xB and I want to strip the OEM speakers out and replace them with better ones.
There is 2-3 1/2' in the dash I'd like to X over to keep the lows out and 2-6.5" in the front door and the same for the back doors.
I was looking at the MTX THUNDER TDX6502 6-1/2" COAXIAL SPEAKER PAIR and the MTX THUNDER TDX3502 3-1/2" COAXIAL SPEAKER PAIR.
If I inline X over the 3 with the 6 in door, both are 4 ohm, will it come out to 4 ohm or 2 ohm?
I plan to use Kenwood head unit.
The MTX does cost more, but compaired to the PYLE PLG, is it worth the cost. I listen to all kinds of music except Rap.
I plan on getting a Dayton 10" sub kit for the back.

If you have coaxial speakers in the dash, you do not also need coaxial speakers in the doors. Put midbass drivers in the doors, and then cross both sets of midbass drivers over at the same frequency (around 250 Hz) to the coaxial speakers in the dash. All your passengers will experience better imaging this way. This is how the Bose system in the GM SUVs is set up - with the tweeters firing into the windshield and reflecting out into the cabin.

Excellent idea.
What would you suggest for the doors? And will it keep the impedance at 4 ohms? I don't like dropping it to 2 ohms.
