The Dynaudio has a different basket than the LW5004PMR. Wolf will probably know which one it is.

Hi Hong: I have a lot of projects almost done...these Line Arrays are complete except for all the electronics that need to go along with it(winter project). In a few weeks I'll have a pre-amp power amp complete...I'm ordering an RS 15 inch sub to complete a satellite system. The addiction continues

    Take Care Bob C.

those look nice! i need to build something nice for myself, soon. That's part of the problem of being a professional woodworker/painter. After hours of working on other peoples' projects, it's hard to get motivated on my own wood projects. The monster 15" sub array is going to happen, but it is down the list a bit, at least the yard sod, the irrigation system, the flagstone patio/firepit area is done!

    really, though, those look nice!

15W75 ESOTEC midbass is the one you messed up. The others were correct. In the other pic, it's the TC, Unknown?(It looks like the DSQ12, LAB12, etc; but the spider is in a lower position.Titanic MKII?), Peerless XLS, Morel HU9.1.

Heehee, I know I got the longer row right!
    Later,

Active 3-way? Just curious whether you were able to get around to using those 3-way crossover boards. I used some for those 3-ways that are described in the TB W4-1337S thread below. Makes for a good quick solution.

I still like those boards and started to update the layout with heavier traces, level controls and a ground plane. Halfway through I realized that this would be a great product to get from ezamps.com. Maybe we should work on some improvements and get Aaron to work on an updated board. Probably get a few freebie boards that way.

I can send you a parts list for that board if you want.

Neil: Absolutely Active!!...I will be using your boards for an upgrade to one of my older 3-ways(thanks again!).The DIYAudio forum had a group buy of a very nice and highly configurable 2-way design,The board has a Linkwitz transform, level controls,EQ for each band,At $5 per board I bought a dozen!...The boards sold quickly so there is a great demand for a well thought out board design...Are you listening EZ-Amps?....BTW-your 4 channel Pre-Amp would also make for a great product!,as would your TASXXXX based digital crossover.

One of these days I might just jump into the audio kit business!...Of course I need to retire first

    Thanks Again
    Bob C.

    Default Hey Aaron

    We are talking about you...

    > We are talking about you...

    Hey, you are.

I'm nearly waiting for an offer. Sell me your design. Co-author a design. Whatever - I'm open to it.

Neil, I'd like to meet with you regarding this venture. I know you have been trying to arrange a meeting for quite some time and I was on the fence/not really sure what to make of it. Bob, too, if interested. I have to wait until after the first of the year, but after that, I'm game. It's hunting season, you know!!

I am rearing and ready to go for another kit/project. I'm not about to discard anyone's ideas when it comes to my kits. I don't hold the designs very close as none of them are that articulate - it's just sensible design put to actual product.

Let me put it this way - I'm not known to be selfish or greedy. I want to be successful by making a difference in the kit community if I can contribute at all. I just knocked out a layout for D. Murphy's Modified Insignia crossover which will return from the board house next week. I'm not making a penny on this design because it's HIS and he hasn't otherwise discussed selling them. I'm fairly sure he is selling them at his cost. I was happy to do this for him because I respect his work and I am certain that the favor will be returned someday even if it's not soon.

I don't have all the ideas - but I know you guys can contribute significantly. Plus, you have excellent experience and there is no substitute for that.

Let's work on this...I want to make it happen!

This year is still busy for me as well, but next year things should slow down. Maybe we should start planning a summit early next year at the cabin in Western Maryland, to figure out a product portfolio and business plan. I'm sure we could accomplish a lot more as a collaborative team than as individuals.

BTW, we keep trying to come up with a good name for the cabin house without much success. The postal zone is Oakland, Md. so I'm starting to call it Our House In Oakland (OHIO). My wife gives me grief for being from Ohio (born there but left early), so that is starting to stick

You misidentifed the big subwoofer. It's the Stryke Audio HE-15, from way back in the day. It was one of the earlier drivers designed by Deon Bearden who now works for TC Sounds. It predates the entire linear-motor development, and was a standard overhung coil. At the time, it was the most beastly subwoofer at any price until the Adire Tumult came around.

    All the best,
    Rory
