My Thanksgiving....

Didn't have to cook this year OH YEAH!!!! Got invited on for a dual purporse event. Thanksgiveing of course, and the othe being the engagement ceremony for a friend. He's philipion and the bride is vietnamese. I learned some culture today. The ceremony was awsome even thought I didn't understand the whole thing. They broght presents in these little prety square boxes covered with red and gold lead trim. Everyone gathered in the parlor (oh 50 or so) and they announced family members on the grooms side first, then the brides. Me and my wife were the only two outsiders (not family members either side) but they like me for some reason. I have no idea why sinch I can be a real jerk sometimes. Cordon Blue Cognoc (I think that stuff goes for $100s a bottle). Tasted good to me and I'm s ure that CurtC would have liked it too. Anyway it was fun and free. I like free . I may go out a do a few things in the garage but I got a pretty good buzz going so I think it would be wise to just stay inside and wait until tomorrow what do you guys think? Those cognacs and heinekens (spelling?) sure do a number on the central nervrous systrem.

I've sampled that Cordon Bleu before and it is pure good. I just checked the e-mail and I have an invite to drop over to my friends' place for some gaming and good grape. I guess this means we will be popping the cork on some Dom Perignon in a couple hours. I won't know until I get there.

They have a nice selection of wine and champagne in the house and a little bit of good whisky. I still need to take them a bottle of my favorite gin (Bombay Sapphire) because that's what they don't have. It's not often I crack open the bottles but when the time is right, oh how good it is. There's a good chance I might have to sleep on their couch tonight hehehe. Happy Thanksgiving, Paul.
