3-way update... *PIC*

Here's the latest pic of my 3-ways...
The middle section does not have any poly on it yet, so it looks a little different than the other sections.
Next steps... a few more coats of rub on poly, finish the crossovers, and wire them up...

DZ: That's a clever design...I like how you broke up the cabinet into 3 sections with the contrasting horizontal wood strips(walnut??)..The base is also a nice detail.Hurry up and finish them!!

Very nice looking.
Are you planning on grills? That's always my stumbling block.

Good looking project. What drivers are you using?

Re: 3-way update...
Thanks Bob for the compliments.
The horizontal wood is red oak... I wanted to use walnut, but could not find any at the local Lowes or HD (about the only options in my area)... so instead I just used dark walnut stain.

I'm guessing a Morel MDM-55 midrange?

Re: 3-way update...
Definitely grills. I imbedded magnets behind the veneer.
There will likely be 2 grills for each speaker (maybe 3). I have the bottom ones done and they just cover the 2 drivers. Still have to work on the top grills... not sure yet on the look for those.
