    Default Sony MDR-V6 Headphones...

I know their has been some interest on a good pair of headphones the last couple of weeks and i have to recommend these. I just got my pair today from etronics.com through amazon.com. They sound damn near perfect to me. Nice impact on the low end, and awesome dynamics.

They block out sound very well, and they are very comfortable. After about 5 mins of listening i forgot they were on my head! They come with a nice 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter that screws on over the 3.5mm.

Also, i ordered them wednesday, and i got them today. Thats fast!

IMO, hard to beat these for the 65$.

I've had mine for 17 years.

I listened to many headphones at a headroom demo and they hold their own against the sennheisers and grados and beyers and AKG's that cost almost $1K, IMO.

I bought mine sometime around 1988 I think. Paid closer to $100 and thought they were a bargain.

I replaced the earcups a few years back. They were still functional, but cosmetically.. that many years of use took it's toll.

I haven't heard anything really better at 10x the cost.
