If the price does not go up this is good news. Pete, have you tested or used your AA6.5 yet?

Technically, they could charge up to 50-60$ for that woofer and they wouldn't be wrong. It would still compete with Seas and Peerless for that money. But i didn't see the 6.5" mentioned in that letter so maybe we're safe. It would be awesome if PE became a dealer. I better grab a pair soon...

It is a bargain at $35 but the 4 ohm impedance is a pain in the ***. They would sell zero of these at $60 to people like me that want value.
I can see it now, P.E. sells these at $31 at quantity 4! Of course there is nothing to keep P.E. from getting something comparable from China if they stop selling junk like Goldwood and DC165.

Well, now you're treading on toes. The dc165 is not junk. Dayton dosen't have any junk that i see. Some of it may not be the best of value, but still they can sound decent for the money. Goldwood, uhh, well you can form your own opinions there. The 4 ohm impedance isn't really a problem at all. In an MTM you can wire them in series. The AA's have enough excursion and sensitivity; aslong you have enough power, its all good. In a MT, you could easily get a 6 ohm load. What amp nowadays isn't 4 ohm stable?

Except the HT junk of course...

Ehh I'm not so sure the DC160 is a good woofer.
