Info/help with Paramount Pictures amps?

I have a Paramount Pictures MC200 6 channel amp, 40wpc/8ohm, 60wpc/4ohm... these were actually made by ATI. I contacted ATI, but they were no help at all... so I'm looking for anyone that knows something about these or similar. It has developed a problem and needs repair... but before I take it in, I was thinking of adding more filter caps, as it only has 2 small ones to feed all 6 channels. Would this be a major job?

That would indicate that all 6 channels are powered by a single supply, which makes sense considering the low power rating. Bigger caps may not improve anything.

Thanks Bill... I assumed more/larger caps would help, since combined; the amp runs 240+ watts [rms] total. I've noticed some amps use smaller ones, and some larger... maybe amperage plays some role. This is a low current design... but it seems it might add a cleaner supply, if the caps were capable of more storage. Would this be possible?
BTW... it does have one large toroidal transformer.
